Greetings!
Last month, I mentioned how dry it was and
asked you to pray for rain. Well, I think we
all did. It rained. You might even think
that God answers prayers. :-)
There is a lot going on around the valley. I
hope you get the Phoenix Prayer emails from
Jeff Evilsizor. I find them encouraging and
challenging. Don't miss the blog posts by
Darrell Kilkup and others. From those, you
can really sense what God is doing in Phoenix.
It will be really great if every house church
in Phoenix would send at least of couple of
people to the Evangelism in Depth training
that Ed Waken is doing on September 15. We
could pack the place out. Even better, more
people would be equipped to reach the lost. I'm
looking forward to it.
Included in this edition is a letter to the
churches from
Aaron Spence. I know you will find this very
encouraging.
We are off to the Mogollon rim and beyond for
camping
this weekend. We will enjoy our church under
the pines. Have a great weekend in the Lord.

Prayers and Praises
|
|
From the Phoenix house churches
- Please continue to pray the Luke 10:2b
prayer
asking God to send the house churches of
Phoenix into His harvest field. Pray for
spiritual renewal within the house churches
of Phoenix.
- Praise God for those faithfully taking part
in the Valley's Saturday Morning Mountain Top
Prayer Campaign each month. Plan now to take
part in the next
one on September 1.
- Pray for our family members who don't know
the Lord.
- Continue to pray for a new believer Ken.
He struggles with
alcohol and has slipped a few times since he
made his decision to follow Jesus.
- Pray for Darrell K. and family. They
are seeking God's will for them toward the
starting of another church. Pray that God
will lead them to the people of peace who
will be strategic in bringing this Valley
into the Kingdom.
- Pray for the next house church gathering in
the valley. The weather will cool off soon
and the fall is always a good time to get
together.

For the house church community
This is the latest news from Rich Kraemer of
Sonlight Home Church in Surprise on the
Ukraine mission trip:
We are planning to leave Nov. 2nd and return
on the
10th. At this point there will be 4 going
with a couple more who are seriously praying
about it. One of the main reason we are
going is for intercession for the nation.
It has been a nation raped spiritually,
politically, economically and many other
ways. Just a small example, the
average Ukrainian woman has had 10 abortions.
Imagine the spiritual
implications of that on that woman as well as
the nation. At this point we
plan on about 4 hours per day of intercession
to see some lifting of the
spiritual darkness.
We will also be working
with a small ministry that
started about 5 years ago by an american
executive that quit her job when
God spoke to her about the handicapped in
that nation. The Communists did
not let the handicap leave their home because
it was not good for their
"national image" to the world. Consequently,
the things that we in America
take for granted like wheelchairs is
nonexistant. She has started using
the handicapped to produce refurbished
wheelchairs from parts donated from
other nations..including the U.S. The
Ukraine also has one of the fastest
multiplication of churches in the world. God
is moving amazingly in this
nation of darkness! These people are so
hungry that we hope to do allot of
evangelism and encouragement of the local
churches.
We are blessed to personally know Paul
Logan, an American man that is what
we would call "Apostle to the nation". He
came there some 10+ years ago
and God spoke to him to stay and commit to
changing a nation. He has been
instumental in the church multiplication and
has been a blessing to help
us to connect with the local churches all
over the nation as well as assist
us in our efforts to support what God is
doing in the corporate church in
the Ukraine.
As you can imagine, we have multiple
challenges and attacks as we have
"stepped up to the plate" and committed to be
used in this way. The bare
bones basics is the financial needs. it will
cost about $2000 per person.
In an effort to stop us all have been having
to deal with multiple
financial crisis' in their personal lives.
My business has never been this
slow. Another persons car is about ready to
die so he desperately needs a
new car just to get to work...which he has
very little of lately. ..and
nothing in the bank...and the list goes on...
The issues are an encouragement because the
enemy is actively trying to
stop us..but also a concern. All prayers
appreciated! If God shows you
anything give us a buzz. Thanks again, for
your interest! We need the
corporate church to pull this off!! Rich and
Becky
If you feel called to make this trip or to
help financially, please contact Rich at RichardKraemer@naksoftware.com

With the Labor Day weekend coming up, lets
begin talking about another house church
gathering. The last one organized by Jeff
Evilsizor was great. The central location
was perfect. I offer myself to help put
something together for the fall. Lets
hear some ideas. Please don't let apathy get
a foothold within the churches. We need each
other. We need to stay connected to each
other. We are the body of Christ. Every
part has a purpose.
Now as we have many parts in one body, and
all the parts do not have the same function,
in the same way we who are many are one body
in Christ and individually members of one
another. According to the grace given to us,
we have different gifts: If prophecy, use it
according to the standard of faith; if
service, in service; if teaching, in
teaching; if exhorting, in exhortation;
giving, with generosity; leading, with
diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness.
(Rom 12:4-8)
God bless,
Larry Johnson
