Greetings!
The response to the newsletter continues to be very
encouraging. New subscribers are being added each
week. Remember that
www.phoenixhousechurch.org now has an
interactive event calendar that allows anyone
to add a new event. Be sure to use it.
First of all, I want to apologize for the long
length of the newsletter. There is a lot here so
please be sure to read it all. And be encouraged !
This month includes a new fun feature. Each month
I'll put an old photo of a place or landmark
somewhere in the Phoenix area and ask you to
identify either what or where it is or was.
Also included this month is a very inspirational story
that was sent to us relating 'A life changed'.
And just before publication of this newsletter a
surprise email was received from some house church
brothers in Germany who discovered our website.
This 'Letter from Germany' really
excites me because we are connecting with people
on such an
international scale.
Praise God !!! and get out there and cast some
seed ...

If you are not on the map, on the

email
me the nearest main crossroads to where your house
church meets so that we can get a marker on there.
Wouldn't it be great to see the map covered with red
markers showing hundreds of house churches in the
Phoenix area?
Lastly, if your house church has a website, please
send me the URL so that I can put a link on the
website.

Where was this? |
 |
Here is an old photo of what was certainly a
landmark in the Phoenix area until progress took
over. You can get the idea of the era by the cars in
the photo. I'm looking for what this is and where this
was. Anyone who has grown up in this area should
know this and anyone who is a transplant should
easily be able to find it on the internet. If you think
you can identify where this was, send
me an
email. Next month, I'll be sure to name the winner
and/or the answer.

A life changed |
 |
Dear Church,
Thanks for praying! I want to encourage you to be
people of prayer for God's kingdom to expand. I
returned home from San Diego yesterday afternoon
and helped Debbie get our home ready for church
that evening. We had a wonderful time as we
experienced a deeper level of ministry, intimacy and
the power of God. It was truly amazing. One
person wrote these words to our house church this
morning, "However, church last night seemed to be
the closest thing I've ever experienced to what I
understand about the functioning of the early
church." Those are powerful words of hope, life and
excitement. As great as last night was, this morning
brought even more encouragement and ministry.

Letter from Germany |
 |
Hello housechurchfreaks in Arizona,
I just served around on your website Arizona
housechuch- network and I felt at home. It is
amazing to find out that all over the world a new
time of church has began. And I feel very familiar
with all the thinking and the way of churchlife you
have.
My name is Richard and I life in Essen, a city in a 6
mil. area near Cologne, Düsseldorf,Dortmund, it is
called the Ruhr Valley.
I`m part of a housechurch and a network of house
churches their since 2002. Ì´m fulltime involved to
work for the vision of house churches in my region
and in Germany. (
www.taube-lebensdienst.de)
In the past years we had several seminars and
housechuch days with, Wolfgang Simson, Neil Cole,
Dick Scoggins and others. Next weekend we will have
Keith Smith (OFI- ministries) on a house church
conference.
So we got al lot of good international input. I`m glad
to see how many house church networks you have in
USA. In Germany we are in the beginning.
These days my team is working on a new website
where you can see, what is going on in Germany,
Austria and Swizzerland. (
www.hauskirchen.de) We want to build a new
platform for connecting, information and
communication about housechurches in the
germanspeaking countries. Also we will bring, on the
second level, an international view.
Many greetings to your fellows from germany. God
bless you.
Richard Schutty
