The Financial Peace University class we are offering is from material supplied by Dave Ramsey.  It is a
Christian program that we went through 3 1/2 years ago that teaches finance management including budgeting,
getting out of debt, investing, insurance, etc.  The material is simple, down-to-earth and Bible based.

The biggest reason I could give anyone for signing up for the class is how it has changed our lives.  It
practically eliminated conflict over money between us. We got on the same page and started getting out of
debt.  Over 36 months we paid off over $37,000 in debt (credit cards, house, car).  We are now debt free
except our house.  Because of the plan, we were able to have me quit my job and stay at home when our older
daughter was born two years ago.  

We are offering the class on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30.  It meets at New Life Church in Peoria. 
There is an orientation to check out the class on March 22 and the class runs April 5-June 28.  The cost
for materials is $96.25 (we don't get paid, it covers books, workbook, cds, and some other stuff).  If
